Manghebati

On July 2004, MANGHEBATI joined the ANC -ARAB Notification Consortium- whose target is to notify the feed additives to the European Commission in the frame of the regulation ECN°1831/2003. Thus, each plant (herb) used by MANGHEBATI is listed in the Feed additives Community Register.

Following this process, MANGHEBATI subscribed to the FEFANA (European Association for Feed Additive and Premixture operators). Thanks to this membership, MANGHEBATI is always informed about the latest modifications of the regulations concerning the feed industry.

With over 100 members from 28 countries, this association is the interface between industry additives in animal nutrition and the authorities of the European Union in order to promote, preserve and defend the common interests of industry : guidelines, registration, labelling, definitions, analysis, hygiene in animal nutrition, safety of the food chain ....

Since the beginning of 2006, our company has been involved in a process of certification of its control and quality management systems.  Those efforts were successful; in March 2007, we were provided with a FAMI-QS certification (European Feed Additives and pre-MIxture Quality System).

This certification is delivered by Bureau Veritas France – known as the official certification body by FAMI-QS association. Since 2006, a mutual agreement has been signed between FAMI-QS and other European repositories as GMP (Belgium), PDV GMP + (Netherlands), FEMAS and UFAS (United-Kingdom). Therefore, certificates obtained in either of the schemes are equivalent.

FAMI-QS appears as an European quality standard, as far as feed additives and premixes as concerned, and a possible international benchmark to help all operators to comply with legal European requirements.
